About the role

The assignment is to be performed by a resource consultant (a service performed by a consultant to provide reinforcement to Svenska kraftnät in the ongoing work carried out by Svenska kraftnät. The execution of these services is led and governed by Svenska kraftnät). The management object IT workplace is currently undergoing a transformation to the next generation Digital Workplace. The solution architect will contribute their experience and knowledge in the journey towards the future Digital Workplace as well as to the management. The role of the solution architect within the digital workplace involves coordinating, directing, and actively participating in Svenska kraftnät's transformation to the next generation IT workplace.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and ensuring the quality of solution architecture within the framework of projects or management, in line with overarching architecture, governing principles, and guidelines. Designs solutions that integrate business needs, information management, and technology choices. Ensures that the solutions are feasible, sustainable over time, and support the organization's goals. Collaborates closely with development teams, project managers, and other architect roles. The consultant will develop designs and implement solutions for modern collaboration including Teams, AzureAD, Sharepoint, digital whiteboard, persistent chat, and video conferencing. The consultant will also produce necessary documentation and contribute to the handover to the line organization as well as support the line organization in management. The role involves both working on producing necessary design documents and being hands-on to implement solutions together with technicians.

Competence requirements:

• At least 5 years of work experience in the last 10 years as a solution architect or senior technician in the field of digital workplace.
• At least 5 years of work experience in the last 10 years in complex and modern Microsoft Enterprise environments. By complex Enterprise environments, we mean companies or authorities with more than 2000 clients using various types of clients, e.g., physical and virtual, packaged software, using GPOs for governance, having a mix of on-prem and cloud solutions, using SCCM for management as well as O365 and Azure. The assignment requires hands-on experience as the consultant will both help configure and produce design documents.
• University and/or college education of 120 credits/180 ECTS in IT or relevant work experience. By relevant experience, we mean at least 5 years of work in solution architecture and digital workplace or similar.

Value-added requirements:

• At least 5 years of work experience in the last 10 years as a solution architect responsible for developing, anchoring, and implementing solutions in a complex and modern Microsoft Enterprise environment. By complex Enterprise environments, we mean, for example, physical and virtual, packaged software, using GPOs for governance, having a mix of on-prem and cloud solutions, using SCCM for management as well as O365 and Azure.
• Previous experience working for public sector organizations with security-sensitive operations.
• Participated and actively contributed in procurement, within the public sector, of IT solutions.

Assignment period: 1/4 2026 - 1/4 2028

Extension option: 1+1 year

Scope: 100%

Location: Svenska kraftnät's office in Sundbyberg. Remote work may occur up to 40% of the working time
